                Our College Students Cheer on Guizhou over 100 Kilometers International Marathon Race of Moutain Leigong Tour

                On October 28th of 2016, Guizhou over 100 Kilometers International Marathon Race around Moutain Leigong (Kaili Race Stage) began at 8 o'clock, which goes right past through the gate of Qiandongnan National Polytechnic.
                In order to cheer on the marathoners, thousands of students waited early at the pathway near the college gate. Though it was raining, it didn't bother their enthusiasm about the race. Not only did the cheer voice and flowing flags inspire the marathoners, but also it became a a beautiful scenery. One of the students said, "It’s helpful and meaningful for us to improve our sport consciousness by cheering on marathon race during hosting time of college's sports meeting."
                The marathon originated from a war in Greek, which was instituted in commemoration of the fabled run of the Greek soldier Pheidippides, a messenger from the Battle of Marathon to Athens, who reported the victory. The marathon become a suitable sport for both young and old now, whether you are professional athlete or amateur, you can be a marathoner. The marathon race represents a spirit of indefatigability and self-challenge, which is required for young students. By watching the marathon race, it makes the students feel the charm of sports and it plays a positive role in cultivating all-people sport consciousness.
